After working in Apollo Salon from the time she was fourteen, Stylist Karissa Burnette returned to Apollo after attending the Gene Jaurez Academy of Beauty in Seattle. She consistently attends continuing education in the Hair industry to keep her on top of industry trends.

Karissa is “A Day Maker”! Making you feel most important, and paying attention to what your really looking for is part of her charm. Helping her customers feel good about themselves and providing individuals with the “How To” tips to do their own hair styles at home is a specialty service Karissa enjoys giving.

She enjoys all aspects of the Beauty Industry and provides hair care to all ages of children, Women and Men. Offering Services of Full Color, Weaves, Cuts, Shampoo and Style, Up-Doo’s and Thermal Straightening. She enjoys special events and weddings where unique Up-Doo’s can make the day even more special.

Karissa continues to expand her knowledge in many areas by working under a Bumble and Bumble Network Educator. She is a Certified Bess Color Specialist, and holds a Pureology Product certificate. Using Redken Color Line for a true shine color.

She enjoys shopping, exercising, riding ATV’s, hunting, and reading her favorite book “Life as a Day Maker” by David Wagner. Born and raised in Redmond, she is a true Central Oregonian.
